Thouxanbanfauni broke through with the release of his mixtape ‘Heavy Weight Champ’ in 2016 with his signature monotone yet hypnotic flows that unfold over hard trap beats. Influenced by artists such as TI and Gucci Mane, he developed a style that quickly earned him a permanent place in the Atlanta underground scene. This happened at the same time that Playboi Carti and UnoTheActivist were also making their way up, with whom he could regularly be found in the studio. Since then, he has released projects such as ‘Requiem for a Dream’, ‘The ExFiles’ and ‘CLAIRVOYANCE’ (in collaboration with UnoTheActivist), with which he has managed to leave his mark on the development of trap in and outside of Atlanta.
